Summary
The Aircraft Maintenance Manager leads the aircraft maintenance team to provide maintenance for a variety of general aviation and/or commercial aircraft.
Primary Responsibilities

Working closely with all team members and crew members, and/or maintenance control operators to ensure proper maintenance and procedures
-
Running regular maintenance checks on airframe and engines to ensure all components are working to full capacity

Leading company communications and necessary training supporting customer service and safety initiatives
-
Maintaining department staffing requirements by leading recruiting, selection, and training of employees
-
Overseeing airline inventory of tires, brakes, parts, and oil
-
Directing mechanics in on-the-job training and daily operations; inspecting equipment and tools regularly for serviceability
-
Accurately maintaining shop schedules, aircraft logbooks, service orders, FAA audits and other systems as necessary

Assisting in the preparation of operating budgets to ensure profitability for the company

Other Requirements

3+ years of A & P mechanic experience
-
2 + years verifiable Airline Line Maintenance experience
-
3 to 5 years General Aviation and Corporate experience

2 to 4 years Supervisor/Management experience

Ability to operate computer and type effectively

Ability to write legibly
-
Ability to work at elevated heights
-
Ability to operate variety of tools, machines, and equipment

Ability to pass drug screen

Ability to pass criminal history records check and airport badging requirements
Education

High School diploma or equivalent
-
ASS or BS degree preferred in Aviation Technology
