Position Summary:

Assist our maintenance department in maintaining the aircraft records in an orderly manner.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Update daily aircraft times.

  2. Run reports of maintenance coming due for the managed aircraft.

  3. Update maintenance, inspection, and repairs that are completed on managed aircraft.

  4. Review all records of work performed, and verifies accuracy.

  5. Document and log all maintenance, alterations, and inspections that are completed into the permanent aircraft records.

  6. Scan aircraft, engine and APU log books, and log entries as they are completed.

  7. Assists in writing, revising, and maintaining documents for the company, such as: the GMM, ASM, RVSM, etc., all manufacturer’s service manuals, instructions, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, etc.

  8. Maintain permanent records of completed work.

  9. Maintain maintenance record files to FAA standards on all aircraft managed, owned, and/or operated.

  10. Assists the Operations Department in providing a current availability status on all company and managed aircraft.

  11. Participates as a member of the Dependability Control Board (DOC) and Continuous Analysis & Surveillance System (CASS) meetings.

  12. Distributes all Safety Alerts & Operations Information, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, etc. from Aircraft Manufacturers, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), etc. for applicability.   Notifies maintenance personnel if applicable.  

  13. Assists the Chief Inspector in reviewing the aircraft records to verify that all maintenance is performed and documented in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements on the fleet aircraft.

Qualifications/ Competencies: 

  • 1 year of experience in record keeping procedures.

  • Familiar with 14 CFR record retention.

  • Knowledge of basic computer programs, Word, Excel and various aircraft tracking programs

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently

High School diploma or GED required; advanced degree a plus
