The Custodian works to keep facilities and hangars clean and safe.


Primary Responsibilities

Summary
The Facilities Technician / Custodian maintains a professional, safe, and clean work environment by providing maintenance and repair services for facilities and equipment.  
Primary Responsibilities

  • Start rate of $18/hour 
  • Maintain cleanliness of FBO facilities including interior, exterior, landscaping, parking lot, hangars, etc.
  • Establish preventative facility and hangar maintenance by conducting inspections and completing repairs
  • Evaluate and maintain equipment, standards, safety, and function; comply with OSHA standards
  • Perform carpentry repairs to doors, locks, closures, gates, general mechanical equipment, etc.
  • Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs as needed; change of all filters for HVAC as required
  • Track, order, reconcile, and maintain supply inventory
  • Oversee daily removal and proper disposal of trash and recyclable materials
  • Prepare and submit reports to FBO Management
  • Act as a liaison between management, vendors, and construction personnel
  • Perform ramp agent duties including wing walking, baggage transfers, vehicle movements, etc. as needed
  • Evaluate and maintain general service equipment and perform basic repairs as needed
  • Respond to emergency requests in a timely manner
  • Other duties as needed
